Pisasale wins third Orange Crate Derby

There’s just no stopping Julia Pisasale when you get her behind the wheel of her pink crate derby car. The 12-year-old won her third title this past Sunday during the annual Orange Crate Derby, her second consecutive after winning the title last year as well. She was undefeated in all of her heats on Sunday.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far.
