The complaints against former Barrington Christian Academy coach and teacher Sean Cassidy continue to pile up.
On Wednesday, June 17, Barrington Police fielded the fifth complaint lodged against Cassidy, who was recently charged by Rhode Island State Police with contributing to the delinquency of a child, and procurement of alcoholic beverages for underage persons.
The most recent complaint was made by a 23-year-old Pawtucket woman, who stopped into the station to report an incident that occurred when she was 14 or 15 years old.
The woman told Barrington Police that years ago she worked at the Pawtucket YMCA with Cassidy. She alleged that he had very inappropriate conversations with her and also told her to film herself while trying on bikinis that he gave her. The Pawtucket woman told police there was never any physical contact.
Barrington Police forwarded the information to the Rhode Island State Police.
The charges against Cassidy stem from an investigation into alleged inappropriate conduct between a girl who is under the age of 16 and Cassidy, who is a former Barrington Christian Academy teacher and coach and a former Barrington Little League softball coach.
