Robert Andrew Sousa, 61, of Bristol

Robert Andrew Sousa, 61, of First School Street, Bristol, passed away on Dec. 25, 2021, at Rhode Island Hospital.   

Born in Fall River, Mass., he was the son of the late Uriel and Maureen (Mullins) Sousa. He is survived by his children: Navi Sousa of Fall River, Mass., and Jessica Oliver and her husband Adam of Warren; and his grandchildren: Rebecca Oliver, Parker Oliver, Zachary Oliver and Gemma Oliver. He was the brother of Patrick (Melanie) Sousa, Russell (JoAnn) Sousa, Christopher Sousa, and the late Uriel “Sonny” Sousa, David Sousa and Helen Sousa. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Rosemary Sousa.

Mr. Sousa was a graduate of Bristol High School and employed by Raytheon as well as Magnetic Seal before retiring.

His funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 31, at 10 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., Bristol, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
