Parella: Let’s keep this a vibrant place to raise a family

Posted

Bristol is a beautiful and vibrant place to live and raise a family, and the next Council has to ensure this standard remains paramount.

If reelected, I will build on our strengths to: keep the tax rate as low as possible while providing high quality services; ensure high quality education for our children; support local businesses; promote economic development to attract new jobs and enhance our tourism economy; support road, drainage, and infrastructure improvements, including completing the Tanyard Brook, Phase II.

We must also work to keep the town affordable for working families and our senior citizens. This must be done in a context that preserves our open space, shoreline and historic character, all which makes Bristol such a special place.

I look forward to meeting all challenges as a Council member. I bring a great deal of experience to the job and I will continue to put the public’s interest first.

Mary Parella

Ms. Parella is a Republican candidate for Bristol Town Council.
