Maria Isaura (Gouveia) Andrade, 93, of Rehoboth, passed away on Nov. 4, 2018, at home. She was the wife of the Jose Vieira Andrade.
Born in Rabo dePeixe, St. Michael, she was the daughter of the late Henrique Andrade and Maria daGloria (Ponte Leite) Gouveia. She was the mother of Mary Santiago, Maria Isaura Amaral, Antonio Andrade, Teresa Andrade, Noberto Andrade, Adriano Andrade, Henrique Andrade, Maria Andrade and the late Jose Norbert Andrade and Carlos Andrade. She was the sister of the late Maria daGloria Menezes, Ema Brum and Leonarda Amaral.
Her funeral services were held Nov. 8 from the George Lima Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Marinaldo Batista at St. Elizabeth’s Church. Liturgical readings were by Zaura Amaral and Dina Andrade. The Prayer of the Faithful was read by Jess Rozekowiez, and the offertory gifts were presented by Jeff and Julianne Vieira.
Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Joe Andrade, Mark Vasconcelos, Jordan Andrade, Tom Andrade, J. R. Andrade and Victor Andrade.
