To the editor:

I have just finished reading the editorial ‘Protect the Path’, and while I strongly agree with having no motorized vehicles on the path, I think you overlook the fact that many of people using e-bikes on the path are senior citizens.

For many, electrical assistance is needed in order for them to get out get some fresh air and some exercise. I don’t think a ban of all electrical-assisted bikes would be fair to seniors.
