Letter: Thank you to Sansone Funeral Home

Posted

To the editor:

Recently, an extended family member lost a baby born three months premature. The doctors and nurses at Hasbro Children made a heroic effort and did everything they could until they couldn’t do anything more.

On Saturday, April 27, family and friends were received at Sansone Funeral Home in Bristol. When I inquired about the cost of the services, I was told that there was no charge. Later I sought out Joshua Cabral, the Managing Partner of Sansone Funeral Home and an army veteran, who told me no mother in their time of grief should worry about the cost of funeral care for a baby.

Like many funeral homes, Sansone Funeral Home is now owned by a corporation. In a time when corporations are mainly focused on profits and greed, it was a blessing to learn of one who gives back to their community.

Bristol is lucky to have them!
