To the editor:
Spring is in the air and Bristol Blooms is ready at the helm for its 11th year of beautifying our historic downtown with blooming flower baskets and festive holiday wreaths. We are grateful to report that our longtime grower, Donald Fales, will return after a one-year hiatus. Supporting local business is very important to us.
Bristol Blooms has met many challenges over the years, including a drought and a pandemic, and this year is no exception. Our expenses continue to rise leaving our bank account nearly depleted. Our annual budget covers the cost of flowers, wreaths, liners, fertilizer, daily watering, golf cart maintenance and storage, etc. Simply put, we need more money and more people to donate! Bristol Blooms is a grassroots volunteer community organization that relies entirely on the generosity of folks like you to continue, and together we can show our Bristol pride to enhance and beautify our Town for all to enjoy!
We are counting on you once again. Please consider joining all those who have sustained Bristol Blooms in the past, and help us to keep Bristol Blooming! We need your support to continue.
Kindly send your tax deductible donation in any amount to:
BRISTOL BLOOMS, P.O. Box1083, Bristol, RI 02809
We thank you and Happy Spring!
