To the editor:

I would like to send a special thank you to the Town officials of Bristol, Bristol Police Department, Bristol Fire Department, Department of Public Works and paramedics for assisting the Bristol Fourth of July in another successful “Oldest Celebration in the Nation.” I appreciated all that you did to keep us safe and protected during all the events.

To the Bristol Fourth of July Committee, volunteers and community members who helped with all the coordination, I say thank you, and that you are all amazing people. I know we couldn’t have a had such a beautiful day without all your countless hours of hard work, determination, and sacrifice. Our team of volunteers, led by the General Chairman, Chuck MacDonough, is a team that I’m proud to be part of.

I send a sincere thank you to all. I’m proud to live in Bristol and come from a small town with BIG HEART! I look forward to next year and putting on another successful event. Sending a big Camille hug from me to you!

May God bless you and keep you safe!
