Letter: Apparently free speech is ok only if you agree with it

Last Saturday,  we visited beautiful Bristol to walk along the shore on a hot summer day, and to have dinner at one of your great restaurants there. After having a delicious dinner and watching the sun set, we returned to our car (on Thames Street) to find someone had ripped off our Trump 2020 bumper sticker from the rear of our car.

Why do people do such childish, mean things ? The next morning, I had to put another Trump 2020 bumper sticker on the car. Lot of good that immature prank did, huh?

So much for having an open mind, tolerance, and free speech. It’s only ok if you agree with them.  Otherwise, it’s: “Tear it down. Destroy it. Cancel it.”
