Letter: Anti-Trump citizens and media are dividing this country

Posted

According to your website, “East Bay Newspapers encourages all citizens to comment publicly on the events and times in which we live. We will print any letter sent to us, adhering to guidelines for taste, accuracy, fairness and public interest.”

That is why I am confident you will also print this letter. You chose to publish an “I hate Donald Trump” letter, submitted by Thomas Brown. Another person that blames the President for everything wrong in our county.

It reminded me of all Joe Biden’s answers to every question. When asked about how he would handle a situation in our government, his answer is the same — we must get rid of Donald Trump. That is much easier to say rather than what he would actually do, because he doesn’t know what he would do or even realize what the problem is.

We all know, both Democrats and Republicans, that the only reason Joe Biden is the Democratic candidate for the presidency is because the Democrats have no one else prepared to lead this country. They put all their efforts into impeaching Donald Trump and failed. It is so obvious that the Democratic party and their followers are making a last-ditch effort to discredit this President.

This includes propaganda and lies related to the handling of the Corona virus, and they cannot pass it up. Even if this means dividing this country as much as possible.

By choosing to publish that “I hate Trump” letter, you have opened up a can of worms. It is too late now; you must hear opposing views. You now have made this paper a political format (some may believe it already was).

In his ranting and raving, Thomas Brown did not mention one good thing about this country. This type of anger and hatred towards the President and his constituents further fuels this division. Needless to say, the “Democrat media” has not mentioned one positive thing that Donald Trump has accomplished for the United States and will not do so, hoping their listeners/readers will never learn of them.

However, more and more citizens are wise to their tactics and will not sit quiet.

By the way, I also was born and raised in Bristol, attended both private and public schools, and currently live in Bristol.
