The 14U East Bay Warriors football team squashed Seekonk 48-0 in week one, then dominated Dighton-Rehoboth 30-0 in week two, to start their season 2-0.
Running backs Tyler Rhynard, Zach Borges, Griffin Ingram, Anderson Emard, dubbed the “Four Horseman” have scored ten touchdowns and rushed for over 500 yards combined, playing behind the dominant offensive line of Henry Bettencourt, Lucas Machado, Kyle McCarthy, Travis Furtado, Jack Mullaney, Blake Boughton and tight end, Aaron Sellers.
“We have a great core group and some new players joining us this year and it’s made for a really special group,” said head coach Nick Rocha. “I look forward to this group's growth throughout the season and the sky is not the limit, it’s just the beginning.”
League scores
The 6U team lost to Seekonk 30-18 in week one, then beat the Falcons 30-12 in week two. The 8U team beat Seekonk 12-0 then lost to Dighton-Rehoboth 26-19. The 10U team shutout Seekonk 19-0 and beat the Falcons 20-6. The 12U team fell to Seekonk 19-7 and Dighton-Rehoboth 32-8.
