A Metacom Avenue resident reported at 3:02 p.m. that they believed their ex fiancee stole equipment from a gym.

Brian J. Francis, born 1971, of 11 Tina Ct., Bristol, was arrested at 8:08 p.m. and charged with one count of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, first offense).

Tuesday, March 12
Patricia A. Belanger, 56, of 725 Metacom Ave., Bristol, was arrested at 12:54 a.m. on a Superior Court Bench Warrant.

Police dispersed four people from Metacom Avenue at 1:30 a.m. after receiving a report of suspicious activity.

A Butterworth Avenue resident called police at 9:28 a.m. after a box truck parked in their driveway and claimed they were there to install insulation. They left before police arrived.

Fraud was reported on River Street at 9:32 a.m.

Police responded to State Street at 10:58 a.m. for a report of a man loitering. Police found he was just shopping.

Bank fraud was reported on Central Street at 2:43 p.m.

Police responded to Gooding Avenue at 4:38 p.m. following the report that someone had failed to return a rental car within the appropriate time window.

Wednesday, March 13
A vehicle was reportedly damaged by a delivery truck on Gooding Avenue at 1:17 a.m.

Police dispersed a man who was sleeping in the basement of a Sunnyside Avenue home at 10:45 a.m. after receiving a report the man was not wanted at the property.

Thursday, March 14
Police responded to Church Street at 12:24 a.m. when a resident said they were threatened by their neighbor and believed they had used a firearm in their backyard.

Police dispersed a vehicle from the Town Beach at 2:18 a.m.

Police called a rescue for a man on Curtis Road after responding to a call for a domestic disturbance at 5:07 a.m.

Fraud was reported on Hope Street at 1:03 p.m.

Vandalism was reported on Wood Street at 3:26 p.m.

Police responded to Sherman Avenue at 4:10 p.m. for a report that a drone had struck a vehicle, but the vehicle left prior to their arrival.

A social security scam was reported on Colonial Road at 4:20 p.m.

Friday, March 15
A scam involving online orders sent to the Common Pub & Grille on Wood Street was reported at 4:46 p.m.

Lana J. Patterson, born 1988, of 47 Patterson Ave., Warren, was arrested on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 10:38 p.m. following a traffic stop. They were charged with DUI of liquor or drugs (BAC unknown, fist offense), and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Saturday, March 16
Police responded to Sherman Avenue at 10:46 a.m. for the report of a postal vehicle on fire. The fire was knocked down and the vehicle was towed from the scene, which had caused a traffic backup.

Heather A. Church, 36, of 405 Metacom Ave., Bristol, was arrested at 5:28 p.m. following a call for a disturbance. They were charged with one count of domestic violence (vandalism, first offense).

Joseph E. Church, born 1989, of 405 Metacom, Bristol, was arrested at 5:33 p.m. They were charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses).
Authorities responded to Hope Street at 5:58 p.m. for the report of an injured animal that was blocking the roadway.

Sunday, March 17
Police spoke to a landscaping crew on Bay View Avenue at 9:19 a.m. after someone called to complain they had been making loud noise since 6:00 a.m.

Credit card fraud was reported on Metacom Avenue at 12:03 p.m.

A caller on Wood Street reported at 2:17 p.m. that they believed two vehicles had been tampered with while parked.

Fraud was reported on Amy Drive at 4:37 p.m.

Police responded to Mulberry Road at 7:24 p.m. to look for a blonde woman who was reportedly driving a Harley Davidson over lawns. They didn’t find anyone at the scene.
