Monday, May 22
A skunk that got caught in a tree on High Street at 7:16 a.m. was freed by the animal control officer.
A report at 7:50 a.m. indicated seeing a small fox in the road near Dolly Drive and Hope Street. Sadly, a report from 8:43 a.m. indicated a deceased fox was found on Hope Street.
A loud party was quieted down on Wood Street at 11:47 p.m.
Tuesday, May 23
A caller reported a woman had yelled vulgarities at them while they were mowing their lawn near State Street at 11:47 a.m.
Police received a report of a cyclist on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 12:58 p.m. but they were gone when authorities showed up.
Wednesday, May 24
A skunk that was injured in the road on Dunbar Avenue at 7:49 a.m. had to be euthanized.
Police received a report that the Mt. Hope baseball team was playing music too loudly on Chestnut Street at 3:50 p.m.
Thursday, May 25
A motor vehicle accident involving a car hitting a pole occurred near Peckham Drive and Broadcommon Road at 9:23 p.m.
Friday, May 26
A Bristol officer informed Portsmouth PD of a car that was going at least 90 miles per hour over the Mt. Hope Bridge. Portsmouth PD stopped the vehicle in their town and the Bristol officer responded to assist.
A loud group of Roger Williams students was advised of a noise complaint at 1:35 a.m. near Woodlawn and Dunbar Avenues.
Officers responded to Mt. Hope High School at 2:03 a.m. in response to an apparent senior prank involving plastic cooking wrap being applied to street signs.
Police spoke to a man who was walking while intoxicated in the roadway of Hopeworth Avenue at 10:43 a.m. He denied medical help and said he was walking home.
A car crash near Hope and Franklin Streets at 7:44 p.m. resulted in one being transported to the hospital.
Lindsay Goldstein, 34, of 8 Bay View Avenue, Apt. #2, Bristol, was arrested following the report of damage to a vehicle on Bay View Avenue at 8:27 p.m. She was charged with resisting arrest, vandalism, and disorderly conduct.
Saturday, May 27
Lucas Wilcox, 20, of 105 Alfred Drown Road, Barrington, was arrested following a report of suspicious activity near Thames and Bradford Streets at 12:58 a.m. He was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer in execution of duty.
A fight was reported on the Town Common at 4:07 p.m. involving a group of juveniles. Officers reported no fight at the scene but did disperse a group of juveniles from the area.
Sunday, May 28
An injured rabbit was assisted on High Street at 2:47 p.m.
A caller on Annawamscutt Drive reported at 4:39 p.m. that someone had cut down their bushes.
The animal control officer responded to a report of chickens on Wood Street. They were later secured in their coops.
Police picked up a bag of white powder found on Broadcommon Road at 6:30 p.m.
A fireworks complaint was logged on Francine Street at 10:10 p.m.
Monday, May 29
A Wood Street resident reported that their roommate had pushed them at 2:09 a.m.
