Bristol arrests: DUI, B&E, bomb threats

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests this week:

Tatiana Paulino, 19, of Windward Lane in Bristol, was charged with domestic assault after police were called to a family disturbance on Bourne Street at 6 a.m. Dec. 29.

Liesel D. Serbst, 47, of 205 W. Rely St., Towand, IL, was charged on Dec. 30 with nine counts of making a bomb threat and six counts of crank or obscene phone calls. See story below for more details. See more details here.

Dennis Afonso, 38, of 18 Deer Run Road, Bristol, was charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police arrested him on Tupelo Street at 1:15 a.m. Dec. 31.

Warren man charged with firing gun into bedroom wall

Two teenage women were charged in connection to a theft of a business on Gooding Avenue. Hannah Gaudreau, 18, of 26 Collins St., Bristol, was charged with breaking and entering and larceny under $1,500. Maria Rosato, 18, of 32 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, was charged with conspiracy to commit both crimes. The owner of the business had called police two days earlier after suspecting money was being periodically stolen from the cash register over the past several months, according to police reports. The owner installed a surveillance system on Dec. 29, and Ms. Gaudreau allegedly appeared on camera taking money from the register just before 5:30 p.m., soon after the store had closed for New Year’s Eve. Ms. Rosato reportedly had worked at the business before and till had a key, which she allegedly gave to Ms. Gaudreau, resulting in the conspiracy charges.

Danielle Tessier, 39, of 9 Debra Lane, Portsmouth, was charged with driving under he influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test, obstructing an officer and driving with a suspended license. She was pulled over on Wood Street around 9:30 p.m.

John T. Mazza, 21, of 176 Grant St., Lexington, Mass., was charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test on Mt. Hope Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

Lisa M. Ansaldi, 53, of Hope Street, Bristol, was charged with domestic assault by strangulation, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic assault and refusal to relinquish a telephone. Police were responding to a family disturbance at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 1.

William H. Cheetham, 44, of 118 Church St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was arrested on a 6th District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court.
