Barbara Mae (Clarkson) Prenda, of Albion Street, passed away on March 25, 2020, at Franklin Court. She was the wife of Manuel C. Prenda Jr.
Born in Fall River, Mass., she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys (Delaney) Clarkson. She is survived by her children, David Goulart and his wife Melissa, Patricia Baccus and her husband Rick, and Nancy Prenda. She was the grandmother of Maisy Goulart, Julia Goulart, Stephen Goulart, Eva Goulart, Justin Goulart, Dawn Blacic and Elizabeth Gray; and great-grandmother of Kailynn Jones, Tyler Busscher, Ronald Blacic III and Emily Gray. She was the sister of Thema Pelletier, Virginia Holcomb and the late Russell Clarkson, Gladys Case, George Clarkson, Donald Clarkson and Beatrice Girard.
Mrs. Prenda was a graduate of Pawtucket High School and worked in quality control at Hartman Systems. She was also a hairdresser at Mr. Arthur’s Salon in Seekonk, as well as a former member of Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Elizabeth’s Church.
Her funeral services were held March 28 from the George Lima Funeral Home.
