Anthony Richard Berretto, Jr. (Tony), age 58, died on February 17, 2018. Tony chose Houston, Texas, as his home but was living and working in China at the time of his death.

Tony was born August 16, 1959, in Providence, Rhode Island, a son of Joyce Lanehart of Houston and the late Anthony Berretto. After growing up in Bristol, R.I., Tony graduated from the University of Florida and remained an avid Gator until the time of his passing.

He received his law degree from Tulane University. He worked in the Oil and Gas industry in Texas and worldwide.

Tony will be remembered for his beautiful uniqueness and zest for life. He touched the lives of many all over the world with his love and generosity.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Lanehart of Houston, Texas, fiancé Flora Gnogbo of Montreal, sister Judy Prisk and her husband Tom of Houston Texas, sister JoAnn Lemly and her husband David of San Diego, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church, 10221 Ella Lee Lane, Houston, TX, on April 7 at 10:30 a.m., with the reception to follow.
