Ann C. (Crowley) Schwarz of Plymouth, formerly of Quincy and Bristol, R.I., died unexpectedly as result of an auto accident on June 6. She is the beloved wife of Stefen D. Schwarz of Plymouth; loving mother of Robin Markella Hallowell and her husband David of Duxbury, Robert Schwarz and his wife Mary of Wareham, Colleen Tavekelian and her husband Stephen of Plymouth, and Brad Schwarz and his wife Catherine of Memphis, Tenn.; sister of Harold Sterling Crowley Jr. of Quincy, Daniel Crowley of Braintree and the late George Crowley; cherished grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of two.
Born in Providence, R.I., on April 23, 1939, daughter of the late Harold and Catherine (Shockroo) Crowley, she was educated in Quincy and a graduate of Quincy High School. Ann worked in banking most of her working career. She worked at Myles Standish Federal Credit Union and Plymouth County Federal Teacher’s Credit Union.
She also worked prior to that for Howard Johnsons in Quincy and in retirement at Walgreen’s in Plymouth. Ann enjoyed her family time and being on Plymouth’s waterfront and was an avid reader.
Visiting hours in the Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., North Plymouth (near Cordage Park) are Tuesday, June 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass is Wednesday,
June 13, at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, Plymouth. Burial will be private. Memorial donations in her name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Online condolences may be made at www.cartmelldavis.com.
