Alan S. Cabral, 73, a lifelong resident of Bristol, passed away at home on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021. He was the son of the late Victor J. and Catherine A (Arouca) Cabral.

Alan worked as a Material Handler at Raytheon for many years before retiring. He also served in the Rhode Island National Guard. He was a graduate of Bristol High School and a proud member of the Class of 1967. Alan was also an active parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, where he served as an usher.

Alan is fondly remembered by his family, high school classmates and many friends as a kind and gentle person. He will be sorely missed.

He is survived by a nephew, Daryl Cabral of Pawtucket, a niece, Becky Evans of North Carolina, and a great-nephew, Cody Cabral of Bristol.  Alan was brother of the late Kenneth Cabral.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Mary’s Church.
