Barrington Pop Warner cheer teams compete in Florida

The Barrington Pop Warner cheerleading squads had another successful trip to the National Championships in Orlando, Fla. this past December.

The Barrington Pop Warner Junior Varsity level 1 and level 2 cheer teams performed with excellence throughout the 2022 cheer season.

Junior Varsity Level 2 

• Roster: Head coach Jamie Testa, assistant coaches Shelby Crofts, Jodi Pukl; cheerleaders Lyla Andrade, Alessandra Brunskill, Chloe Byrne, Olivia Bryne, Reese Corrow, Kaya Drake, Sophie Freedman, Evangelina Hill, Avery Laramee, Julianna Macera, Charlotte Poirier, Isabelle Rego, Maiah Thompson, Sophie Wilmarth 

• Accomplishments: First place, Grand Champions, and highest score of the day at RISMA; First place at New England Regionals; Nationals participant 

Junior Varsity Level 1 

• Roster: Head coach Amanda Ouellette, assistant coach: Kristen Sietins; cheerleaders Macy Alexander, Alivia Bishop, Charlotte DiSanto, Hunter Dupee, Ginevra Girardello, Kimora Laferriere, Beatrice Mollmann, Aven Sheets, Kayleigh Sietins, Madeline Stoeber, Sydney Toman, Annie Yan

• Accomplishments: Second place at RISMA; First place at New England regionals; Nationals participant 

Barrington Pop Warner cheerleaders now have qualified for nationals four years in a row. 

“Barrington Pop Warner would like to thank all the people and organizations who have stepped forward to support the fund-raising effort for our 2022 season, as well as special sponsors that  supported sending our two cheer teams to nationals. We are so fortunate to have such amazing businesses in our community,” wrote the BPW coaches.
