The public invited to join the Hameho Garden Club’s November program “Rhode Island winter birds” on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 6:30 p.m. at Barrington Congregational Church.

“Here’s your opportunity to learn about the expanding variety of RI winter birds,” stated a press release from the Hameho Garden Club.

Lauren Parmelee, the senior director of education at Audubon Society of Rhode Island, will discuss how to attract and support the feathered year-round winter residents and nomadic visitors. The program will include information on trees and plants that birds rely on and optimal food sources.
