Did you lose a piece of jewelry at Barrington Beach?
A man stopped into the police station on Tuesday, July 14 at about 5 p.m. and turned in a gold bracelet he found while metal-detecting on Barrington Beach.
The detectorist also asked to speak with a police officer about finder’s rights — he said he would circle back to the police station in a few months to see if the bracelet had gone unclaimed.
Police said the bracelet appears to be expensive, and if anyone lost a bracelet at the beach they should stop by the station.
