The Barrington Middle School boys track team won the state track championship recently, while the BMS girls brought home a bronze medal from the same meet.

Joe Adams won the javelin event and finished second in the shot put, while Caleb Satisfield won the high jump and Chase Murphy finished fourth in the high jump. Satisfield, Grady Hazlet, Ryan Realejo, and Colin McDermott teamed up to win the 4x400-meter race (and possibly set a new school record). Adams, AJ Colonna, Murphy, and Satisfield ran to a second place finish in the 4x100 relay event.

Henry Stockwell and Brooks Mello each finished second in events — Stockwell in the 400-meter race, and Mello in the 800-meter race. Charlie Furtado finished fifth in the 1,500-meter race, while Colby Napolitano was sixth, and McDermott was sixth in the 3,000.

Evelyn Lefort finished second in the 3,000-meter race, and Kendra Satine was second in the 200-meter race. Molly DiGiacomo also scored key points for the BMS girls team, finished third in the shot put and fourth in the discus. Kate Pearse was third in the 400 and teamed up with Emma Pearse, Maddy Kiely and Ella Regan to finish fifth in the 4x400-meter relay event. Satine finished fifth in the long jump, Kitty Wang was fifth in the discus, and Claudia Leonard was sixth in the high jump

The team of Evvy Kenny, Gionna DosSantos, Satine and Wang finished sixth in 4x100-meter relay.
