Michelle (Williams) Kazen, 59, of Tiverton passed away June 16, 2022, at Atria Aquidneck Place, in Portsmouth.

She was the loving wife of the late Richard Forcier.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late William A. Williams and Betty (Medeiros) Williams.

Michelle was the owner of Stone Bridge Liquors for the past 17 years, and also worked as a chef for 15 years. She enjoyed her trips to New Hampshire, loved shopping, and adored spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Alisha Kazen (wife Amanda), of Tiverton, and John Kazen, of Dartmouth; her sister, Luanne Cartin, of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Kylie, John, Kambria, and Mason; her good friend “Joe-G”; her loving sister-in-law Doris Bourque; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Lou Williams.

A visitation will be held Saturday, July 2, from 9 to 11 a.m., from the Oliveira Funeral Home, South Main St Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, MA 02724, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
