James F. Gregory, 93, formerly of Grinnell Avenue, Tiverton, husband of the late Lucille (Morin) Gregory, entered into rest Saturday, November 19, 2016.
A Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War, Chief Petty Officer Gregory served in the Navy for 23 years and then worked in Special Services at the Newport Naval Base for many years.
He leaves eight children, Ann Souza (husband Paul) and Joseph Gregory (wife Donna), all of Swansea, James Gregory of Colchester, Conn., and Joan Blanchette (husband Thomas), Mary Vieira (husband Robert), Ruth Murray (husband Robert), Vivian Milot (husband Marc) and Cecile Farias (husband Anthony), all of Tiverton; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was the son of the late James and Anna (Nilan) Gregory.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral Mass at St. Christopher Church, Tiverton at 10: a.m. Interment, Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
