Claire Pearce, 89, Tiverton
Claire (Driscoll) Pearce, 89, of Tiverton, passed away on May 17, 2016. She was the widow of Milton Wimer Pearce. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Edith Annie (Bradley) and Timothy Patrick Driscoll.
A graduate of BMC Durfee High School, she had worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Rubin. She was a member of the Amicable Congregational Church, Tiverton, and its former Social Club. She also belonged to the Newport County Women's Club.
She is survived by her children, Virginia Pinckney (Dan) and Bradley Pearce. Grandchildren are Rachael Pearce Manning (Steve), and Timothy, Christopher and Thomas Pinckney. Great grandchildren are Lilah Pearce and Zachary Pearce. Road, Tiverton, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
