Little Compton, RI

Political platform statement

Why I am running for this office: I’m running for re-election to keep the momentum of what we’ve accomplish going. Thru hard work and many hours we have kept the taxes low and real estate prices stable and kept one of the best bond ratings in the state. We have put Little Compton first in all we have done from the school upgrade project the new wastewater facilitates new town administrator position and person new finance director position and person hired new police and fire chiefs, Wilburs woods foot bridge and on going bridge replacement and general maintenance working with the agricultural trusts in the purchase of more parking for school and town building to increase safety of commons area by lessening the parking congestion. We want to keep our town as rural as possible and at the same time keep pace and stay ahead of modern times. Farmers large and small are vital to our town not only for what they do but the open space they preserve by working the land. Throughout my time on the council I have worked hard to be a good caretaker of this wonderful place there is more good things we have done not mentioned here and many more we would like to do. I’m asking for a chance to keep building on what we’ve accomplish so far to bring our knowledge and understanding of Little Comptons way of life into the next two years. Please consider Voting for me for town council when you vote this November. Thank you Paul J Golembeske
