Bristol’s Stone Church Coffee House welcomes internationally renowned blues singer Brooks Williams this Saturday. Cambridge UK-based guitarist singer and songwriter Williams has been a leading light on the acoustic music scene for more than three decades.

Born in Statesboro, Georgia, Williams moved to Boston at the height of that city’s burgeoning singer-songwriter scene. In the early 1990s, he did his apprenticeship in the bars and clubs in New York and New England and cut his teeth supporting artists like Shawn Colvin, Chris Smither, Rory Block, Leo Kottke, Odetta, Billy Bragg and Taj Mahal.

In subsequent years he has released 35 recordings in 35 years. Never one to shy away from the road, the list of venues and festivals Brooks Williams has played includes Newport, Winnipeg, Cropredy, Cambridge, Philadelphia, and many more.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Light refreshments will be available.
