Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium is hosting two special programs this Saturday, Oct. 24. During the day, it’s “Happy Owl-o-ween!” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors can meet a live owl while learning about all things owls – biology, behavior, adaptations, and more through hands on activities and crafts. All activities are included with admission.

Then, at night, it’s “Birds and Brews.” From 4 to 7 p.m., there will be live music, local brews, food trucks, and s’mores around the fire. Proceeds support Audubon’s bird conservation program. Must be ages 21 or older to attend.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far.
