To the editor:

Just wanted to thank the 3,100 people who put their trust in me with their vote. Thanks.

This is what makes America great. An average citizen can step forward and participate in the process of making local decisions. Local decisions affect our day to day lives the most. I will learn, stay engaged and participate now by attending the various well-run committees and boards which guide this town. I encourage others to do the same. 

I wish the new council well. Thanks again.
