Letter: Hoping for a better New Year at Quaker Estates/Manor

To the editor:

I recently read a story about this place I have been living at for eight years now (“Quaker Manor/Estates tenants fed up,” The Portsmouth Times, Dec. 23, 2021).

My neighbors, Ginger and Vonnie, are very much a part of Quaker Manor/Quaker Estates. They are good friends to all of us who live here on Portsmouth Housing Authority property.

I have many things in my Quaker Estates apartment that still needs fixing. I called the office (and) left message after message. No answer!

(On) Dec. 27, we got word that we now have a new maintenance super. I have had three orders of fix-its in for four to five months. Now a fourth; this fourth one is very, very important. It must be dealt with right this very day.

Fed up — yes, very fed up with Phoenix Property Management! Please fix this property and fix it now!

Also, the thing with the trash and dumpsters and all that stuff — it looks trashy here. Clean it up!
