East Bay papers may be delayed by weather on Thursday

Posted

Due to the predicted adverse weather on Thursday morning, we are anticipating delays in the delivery of the Bristol Phoenix, the East Providence Post and the Portsmouth Times. The problem won't be publishing the papers, it will be getting them to post offices and newsstands.

Bristol Phoenix Subscribers

We will do everything possible to have the Bristol Phoenix delivered with your mail on Thursday. However, it is likely that the weather could delay home delivery until Friday.

Newsstand copies of the Bristol Phoenix, East Providence Post and Portsmouth Times

We plan to delay delivery to our newspaper outlets by 4 to 6 hours. We hope to be able to deliver copies to all regular outlets by the end of the day on Thursday.

Digital e-editions of all newspapers will be available on our website by Thursday morning at 8 a.m.. Look for “E-EDITIONS” at www.eastbayri.com.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
