The Nayatt Road improvement project will begin its winter shutdown on Saturday, Dec. 15.
The project started earlier this fall and will include "full-depth reclamation" from Collins Court to Washington Road. The remainder of Nayatt will be milled and then a new layer of asphalt will be put down. The project will also bring new curbs and concrete sidewalks from the intersection with Rumstick Road west to Broadview.
The winter work shutdown will continue until April 15, 2019 when construction will resume. The project is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2019.
