A Washington Road resident stopped into the Barrington Police station on Tuesday, April 11, after finding two arrows in his backyard.
The resident’s property is located a short distance from Bicknell Park, and he believes someone may have been shooting the arrows there. The resident said this was not the first time he's found errant arrows in his yard.
The resident told police he was concerned because his grandchildren and his pets are often in the backyard and he is worried about someone getting struck with a stray arrow.
Police said RI laws prohibit people from firing any projectiles within 500 feet of a residence.
