Low tide reveals unidentified object

Some Barrington residents are trying to identify a large object that can be seen at low tide along the shoreline on Mathewson Road, just south of the Barrington River Bridge.

The object is estimated at being about three feet across and five feet long and about 10 inches thick. It also has a large square opening and 15 circular openings.

One resident guessed that it might be part of an old coal burning boiler. What do you think it is?
