Barrington police were called back to a home on Chachapacassett Road last week, after someone cut a fence post on the property.
The owner of a home on Chachapacassett Road told police that she had installed two fence posts recently, but discovered on Jan. 16 that someone had cut down one of the posts.
The property owner had blocked a path on the property that neighbors had used for years after discovering that the path was actually her land. The change has upset some of the residents in that area.
Security camera footage helped police identify the man, who later apologized for the vandalism. The property owner told police she did not want to press charges.
