Eleanor Jensen, 86, of Warren

Eleanor (Silvia) Jensen, 86, of Warren died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Crestwood Nursing Home in Warren.

She was the wife of the late Raymond Jensen.

Eleanor was born in Portsmouth, R.I., a daughter of the late Manuel and Eliza (Ferreira) Silvia.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Jensen has been a Warren resident since 1955, coming from Bristol. She was also a parishioner of St. Mary of the Bay Church.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Wayne Jensen and his wife Bernice of Warren, Bruce Jensen and his wife Pamela of Bristol, Linda Cook and her husband Robert of Westport, Mass., and Lisa Benevides and her husband Benjamin of North Dighton, Mass.

She was the grandmother of nine and the great-grandmother of four.

Mrs. Jensen was the sister of the late Manuel Silvia, and the late Lorraine Bifulco, and the aunt of the late Debrah Bifulco.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at 10 a.m. in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.

Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday MORNING from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
