Kelsey opened the scoring with a goal at the 3:23 mark in the first period and added his second about three minutes later. Connor Hayes assisted on Kelsey’s first goal and Brody Carroll tallied the assist on Kelsey’s second.

Trevor Snow got into the scoring column less than a minute after that, giving the Eagles a commanding 3-0 lead. Adam Gorman and Kelsey each tallied assists on Snow’s goal.

Kelsey netted his third of the game at 14:47 of the first period. Brock Carroll and Trent Senn earned the assists on Kelsey’s third goal.

The Avengers cut into Barrington’s 4-0 lead with a goal at the start of the second period, but the Eagles added a fifth goal in the third period when Gorman found the back of the East Greenwich net. Snow and Kelsey assisted on the goal.

Barrington’s Cam Siwik stopped 21 of the 22 shots he faced in goal.

The Eagles improved to 3-1 in Division I rankings and 4-3 overall, while East Greenwich/Toll Gate remained winless, dropping to 0-6 in the division and 0-7 overall.
