Sophia Denham tallied nine kills, eight assists and five aces while helping the Barrington High School girls volleyball team defeat North Smithfield, 3-0.

The Eagles won 25-21, 25-22, 26-24 and improved to 5-2 in the standings. Kasey Dillon also played well in the victory over the Northmen. Dillon finished the match with seven kills, five service aces and five digs.

On Tuesday, Sept. 26, Barrington knocked off Exeter-West Greenwich, 3-1. After dropping the first set 18-25, the Eagles rebounded and won three straight, 25-22, 25-17, 25-12.

Ruby Ciummo played well for the Eagles, finishing with five kills and two blocks, while Emma McCrann had nine kills and nine digs for Barrington.
