The Barrington High School football team squared off against Central High School in a preseason scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 26, at Conley Stadium in Providence. Mitchell Ivatts scored a touchdown for the Eagles following a lengthy offensive series.

Barrington High School will host three Injury Fund football games on Thursday, Aug. 31. The Eagles play against Middletown in the 8 p.m. game.

The regular season kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 9 — Barrington plays at Burrillville at 2:30 p.m.

The Eagles' first regular season home game is on Friday, Sept. 15 against Shea. That game starts at 6:15 p.m.
