St. Luke’s School's annual Trot Off Your Turkey 5K and 1.5-mile run/walk is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
The post-Thanksgiving tradition welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, and normally draws hundreds of people. This year's event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30. The races step off at 10 a.m.; runners gather at St. Luke's School prior to the event. Race-day registration is also held at the school.
Money raised from the event benefits the school and the local non-profit Tap-In (Touch A Person In Need), a member of the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. For more information or to register, go to https://www.stlukesri.org/trotoffyourturkey
