Rahul Yehiya and Isabelle Chen led the way for Barrington at the Brown Invitational. The BHS students finished second in the “Write it, Do it” event. Zayan Azman and Ellie Dunn partnered up to finish fourth in the Forensics event, and Neal Bansal and Will Sturla also celebrated a fourth place finish, theirs in Optics. Preparing for States
After finishing in the top-10 at both Ivy invitationals, Barrington is now preparing for the State Science Olympiad. Team members said Barrington High School has won the state title the last 13 years.
The team is hoping to make it 14 this April, when officials hold this year’s State Science Olympiad. If BHS does win, the local team will travel to the Science Olympiad Nationals.
