The Barrington High School girls cross country team finished third at the state meet on Sunday, Nov. 5.
Sophomore Caroline Livingston finished eighth overall and was Barrington's top individual finisher. She clocked a time of 18:58.70 on Ponaganset's 3.1 mile course.
Katie Zitzmann finished 14th for the Eagles with a time of 19:19.80, and Stephanie Chun was 22nd with a time of 19:55.70. Tess Gagliano was 27th with a time of 20:17.63, and Lily Sefranek and Meghan Zitzmann finished 37th and 38th, respectively.
Barrington (102 points) trailed first place Portsmouth (93 points), and second place LaSalle (94 points).
