The Barrington High School boys basketball team outscored Cranston East 25-10 in the first quarter, 25-6 in the second, and rolled to an 89-45 victory on Wednesday night, Jan. 31.

The Eagles showed no let-down following their win over Hendricken on Friday night. The team shared the ball and played unselfishly against Cranston East — Barrington recorded 19 first half assists and 27 for the game.

Quinn Murphy and Evan Anderson got the home team started as Murphy knocked down two three-pointers and Anderson was able to get to the rim for three quick baskets in the early minutes of the game.

Nick Scandura led Barrington players with 24 points. Matt Raffa scored his 14 points in the first half. Caleb Satisfield was dynamic and added 12 points, while Ryan Rigamonti poured in 10. Murphy and Anderson finished with six points each. Colin McDermott and Matt Leonard both added five points. Alex Anderson drilled a three-pointer, Owen Pfeffer added two points and nine assists, and Jake Ignall rounded out the scoring with two.

The Eagles improve to 15-1 overall and 11-1 in Division I standings. Barrington will play at Portsmouth on Thursday night at 6 p.m.
