Barrington won the Eastern Division Outdoor Track Championship last week.
Mars Bishop paced the Eagles with wins in the 400, 800 and in the 1,500. Josh Roy also shined for Barrington, winning the high jump and taking second in the 110 hurdles. Jack Dunn won the hammer throw, and freshman Walter Joachim-Delpoio finished second in the 300 hurdles and third in the 110 hurdles. Sam Read was second in the 100 and third in the 200, while Hayden Ivatts was second in the 1,500 and Eliot Laidlaw was second in the 3,000.
Barrington had two first-place finishes in relay events. Eliot Laidlaw, George Wicker, Eli Mitnick and Jamie Gunness won the 4x800, while Ivatts, Gunness, Wicker and Bishop won the 4x400.
"This is the first season that LaSalle has been in the Eastern Division, and so beating this strong team in the championship meet as well as going 10-0 in the regular dual meet season has been quite an accomplishment," said coach Bill Barrass.
