Barbara S. Mosher, 93, of Barrington

Barbara S. Mosher, 93, of Washington Road, Barrington, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Mosher Jr.

Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late William and Louise (Claflin) Stamp, she lived in Barrington for 70 years.

Mrs. Mosher attended Rhode Island College. She was a communicant of St. Luke Church and a member of the D.A.R.

Barbara enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen M. Egan and her husband James of Mendham, NJ and Frances M. Babb and her husband Joel of Sumner, Maine; a son, Joseph M. Mosher III and his wife Janice of Ventura, Calif.; a son-in-law, Ralph Racca of Warwick; three grandchildren, Kathleen, Tricia and Andrew and six great-grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Lauren, Phil, Jake and Michaela. She was the mother of the late Carolyn M. Racca.

A private family graveside burial was held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Contributions in Barbara’s Memory to the St. Luke Church Endowment Fund, 108 Washington Road, Barrington, RI 02806 would be deeply appreciated. Arrangements are by the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, Riverside.
