The Westport Democratic Town Committee will host Peter Fenn, a long-time consultant to Democratic presidential candidates, at a meeting at the Dedee Shattuck Gallery on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Fenn, a Westport resident, will speak at the committee’s “Insider’s Guide to the 2024 Elections,” which starts at 4 p.m. at the 1 Partner’s Lane gallery.

Fenn’s communications group is one of the nation’s top political and public relations firms, having contributed to more than 300 campaigns from president to mayor over the past 50 years.

In 1996 and 1998, the firm was chosen as the lead media consultant for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In addition, Fenn served as a cable news spokesperson for Al Gore in 200, John Kerry in 2004 and in the general election for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. He is a frequent commentator on major network and cable news programs.

Though the event is free and open to the public, donations are welcome. To reserve a seat, contact committee chairwoman Megan O’Brien at megan017102@gmail.com.
