Parents will learn how to properly install car seats in their vehicles from certified child passenger safety technicians. Bring your vehicle, car seat and child for proper fitting. Presented by The Injury Prevention Center at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in partnership with the Kohl’s Cares Car Seat Check Program.
The Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post 5390 host this craft fair featuring local artisans showing their wares. There will be jewelry, candles, stained glass, candy, sewing items, pottery, fused glass, holiday decor and more. All proceeds go to local artisans.
Join the Audubon Society of Rhode Island for a fun-filled, fright-free celebration of Halloween. Families will encounter costumed woodland creatures that explore the myths and legends associated with local wildlife and Halloween. The characters are friendly and fun — perfect for young children.
Singer-songwriter Lenny Solomon’s style has been compared to early Bob Dylan, Guy Clark and Jerry Jeff Walker. Also performing will be Paul Rishell, a master of the country blues and the steel guitar, and Annie Raines, an ace blues harmonica blower. Wildlife Rehabilitators Association of Rhode Island (WRARI) hosts the ninth annual Halloween Wildstock Benefit Concert featuring entertainment by Rendition, Trinity, Band of Brothers, Liquid Fix and Crushed Velvet. Admission includes a buffet provided by Jacky’s Galaxie, a chance at a door prize and a large raffle of items and gift certificates. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit WRARI and the Wildlife Clinic of Rhode Island. Costumes are optional.
