    1. RWU Chorus Spring Concert @ St. Mary's Church
      7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      The ensemble consists of about 35 singers from around the Roger Williams University community and is directed by Jonathan Richter.

      The program will include a celebration of French composers, featuring “Fauré Requiem.” The performance will take place at St. Mary’s Church, 300 Wood Street, Bristol. The chorus will be collecting donations for Home & Hopsice Care of R.I. The event is free and open to the public.

    1. 7th Annual Touch-A-Truck @ East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce
      9:00 am – 1:00 pm

      Hosted by East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce

      This event gets bigger every year. Bring the kids! Bring a camera!

      Lots of trucks and loads of fun! Free rides on the Chamber Choo Choo. Get your picture taken with Kurt the Bear, Captain Hemoglobin, Samboni, Andy the Android, Puffin or Paws mascots visiting from area businesses. Climb on the 30+ construction vehicles, fire and police vehicles, military trucks, oil truck, milk truck, limousine, a motor boat and much more! Free face painting hosted by The Children’s Workshop. Games and activities at the Dave & Buster’s booth.

      A blood drive will be held for the Rhode Island Blood Center from 9am-Noon

      Bring a canned good for TAPIN food pantry and get a $1 off admission.

    1. Introduction to the Rhode Island Charter: A Panel Discussion @ Roger Williams University
      3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

      In the official kickoff to Roger Williams University’s celebrations of the 350th anniversary of the Charter, five members of Governor Chafee’s Rhode Island 1663 Colonial Charter Commission (Patrick Conley, Morgan Grefe, Stanley Lemons, David Logan and Ray Rickman) will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Scott MacKay, political analyst for Rhode Island Public Radio.
      Bringing their unique perspectives to the discussion of the document, each panelist will talk about the quest undertaken by Roger Williams and John Clarke as they sought to secure this charter from King Charles II – a document with significant influence on other colonial charters and on the very constitution of the United States.
      The event is free and open to the public; no tickets are required. It will be held in RWU’s Global Heritage Hall Building, Room G01, from 3 to 5 p.m.

      Mrs. Dolly Levi is a matchmaker who sets out to marry one of her clients, Horace Vandergelder ,

      while playing matchmaker to three other couples.  A family play full of

      songs such as Put On Your Sunday Clothes, Before the Parade Passes By, So Long Dearie,

      and Hello, Dolly! just to name a few.
