The 2026 season for the Warren Women's Softball League was set to conclude this week with semifinal games and the championship contest August 25 and  27, respectively, at Jamiel Park.

Two-time defending champion Chaos were usurped in the regular season rankings by long-time rival Market Street Pub, which earned the No. 1 seed in the playoffs by virtue of its first-place finish. Sluggers were third and Misfits were fourth.

Tuesday's semifinal encounters had Market Street meet up with Misfits and Chaos playing Sluggers.

Market Street opened the night with a 17-5 victory in six innings. The Pub broke open the game by batting around and scoring seven times in the home half of the fourth.

Chaos followed up with another run-rule win, 16-2 in five innings. The reigning champs similarly settled matters by posting 12 runs on the board in the bottom of the fourth as well.

No. 1-seed Market Street improved to 15-4 overall and Chaos upped its record to 14-5. Sluggers finished its season with a 6-13 mark while Misfits ended at 2-17.

The championship game between the top-seeded Pub and Chaos takes place Thursday night at 7 p.m.
